Civilian Trauma Casualty Care

Designed for individuals who may be called upon to provide lifesaving measures in an austere environment. This course is a very interactive hands-on class that follows both the committee for tactical emergency casualty care (CTECC) active bystanders and stop the bleed guidelines. Students will learn how to stop massive hemorrhaging by apply tourniquets and packing wounds, triage penetrating chest wounds, mitigate hypothermia, and treat different types of life-threatening injuries until medical personal can arrive. This class is approximately 6 hours in length.

Pre-Requisites: No medical training is required to attend.
